Believe it or not, after 25 years, this past week I’ve begun to seriously question my own ideology…

Things are dicey right now day-to-day (obviously), but my intent is to intensify my studies, not only in the usual subjects, along with a few new ones (mostly in the arts), but particularly within varying ideologies.

Perhaps I’ll learn something surprising that will help me deal with the depression, disappointment, and ideological faltering I’m experiencing during this tragic time we are all suffering through.

It’s the only way I can think of to (I hope) get my mind off of the blatant tyranny and abject insanity that’s going on out there, and maybe discover some new ideals and/or answers in the process.

I hope to do a lot of writing along the way, too—fiction (my novel-in-process, and perhaps a second collection), non-fiction (here on my blog), and journaling (my thoughts during this new exploration).

I’ve already vastly scaled back my use of Facebook for the time being (after ending my use of all other social media platforms months ago), and thought I’d share these thoughts here, because this is all really heavy, and somewhat disconcerting.

I’ve no idea where these new thoughts and studies will take me…but I can’t help but wonder if perhaps it’s finally time for me to move on.

So, onward and upward…
