“Compass Bookstore: Come Explore a World of Great Reads”
I’ve been reading & writing since I was a kid, and then blogging for years, all the while constantly citing books, referencing books, quoting from books, and of course recommending books.
So I decided to start my own Bookstore, where I can share books I’ve cited, referenced, quoted from, or recommended in my writing, along with more directly presenting and discussing my library, my favorites, and even my out-of-control TBR stacks!
What’s more: the Bookshop.org platform helps support independent authors and artists (like me), plus a percentage of all sales goes to independent bookstores across the nation, to support them and help them compete with the biggies like Amazon and the corporate bookstore chains.
From their website:
“Bookshop.org works to connect readers with independent booksellers all over the world. We believe local bookstores are essential community hubs that foster culture, curiosity, and a love of reading, and we’re committed to helping them thrive. Every purchase on the site financially supports independent bookstores. Our platform gives independent bookstores tools to compete online and financial support to help them maintain their presence in local communities.”
Compass Bookstore is now open and the shelves are stocked, so head on over and check it out! Who knows, maybe you’ll find a book or two that piques your interest—or maybe even one that you just can’t live without!
Thanks, and I hope to see y’all there!
Cheers,

~ Rand Eastwood
