INSIGHTS subscribers know by now that I’m an avid supporter of Hoja Nueva‘s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wildcats and other endangered species in the Amazon rain forest. I’ve written of them a few times here:

And now, they’ve started a rescue animal adoption/sponsorship program, where those who wish to help can “adopt” a specific animal in their care and help sponsor it either until it’s released back into the wild (“rewilded”) or while it’s in sanctuary care—and even sponsor one in the name of a friend or loved one as a gift!
From the website:
“Give the gift of a wild life this holiday season! Our animals can also be adopted / sponsored in the name of a loved one. We can personalize gift cards specific to each of our rescue animals and even deliver them! Sponsors will also get their names listed on our website, alongside each adopted animal.”

The page goes on to publish a long list of animals currently in their care, or not yet but needing rescued, that people can “adopt” or help sponsor specifically.
I implore anyone who may be interested and able to help to visit the Hoja Nueva website and help in any way they can, whether it be through donations, purchases through their Amazon wishlist, buying Hoja Nueva merchandise to help support them/spread the word, or even adopting a specific animal or sponsoring one as a gift. Any level of help is very much needed, and I’m sure will be very much appreciated!
