Of all the news, stories, podcasts, articles, etc. I’ve seen in recent years predicting what’s coming, I must say that this discussion between Dr. Bret Weinstein and Tucker Carlson is by far the most frightening—and, unfortunately, also one of the most credible.
In fact, upon viewing this, I vacillated between 1) potentially putting myself in danger by sharing it, and 2) believing I’m obligated to do so, to get the information out there, sound the alarm, contribute in what little way I can, with the hope that through our collective effort, enough people will learn about, and rise up to stop (at least for now), the horrible evil that’s coming our way.
I opted for the latter, as I have in recent months (or perhaps year or two) felt compelled, or called, to do.
As a result, I even reactivated my Facebook account, including the INSIGHTS Blog page—which I had just deactivated this morning due primarily to its distraction while I attempt to work on my novel, and secondarily due to lack of engagement so why bother?—specifically so I can share this discussion on that platform too, regardless of the likely censorship or shadow-banning that it will suffer. But I think I should at least try, at least take the chance that a few people will see it and pass it along…
And though the balance of what Dr. Weinstein conveys here is truly dark and frightening, on the other hand, he ends the discussion on at least a slightly positive note, which I’ve transcribed below. In short, as I’ve often said in the past—though have begun to doubt more recently—we have all the brains on our side. However, there are plenty of extremely intelligent people who are also sociopaths, criminals, and downright evil…so my simple summation may not be quite so true.
But here’s how Weinstein put it (beginning at the 58:19 mark):
“I would also point out this interesting…error. So I call the force that we’re up against Goliath, just so I can remember what the battle is. Goliath made a terrible mistake, and it made it most egregiously during covid. Which is, it took all of the competent people, took all of the courageous people, and it shoved them out of the institutions where they were hanging on. And it created, in so doing, the “Dream Team”. Created every player you could possible want on your team to fight some historic battle against a terrible evil. All of those people are now at least somewhat awake, they’ve now been picked on by the same enemy. And yeah, all right, we’re out-gunned, it has a tremendous amount of power—but we’ve got all of the people who know how to think. So, I hate to say it—or maybe I like to say it—but I don’t think it’s a slam dunk, but I like our odds.”
Definitely worth a watch, and definitely paramount to share far and wide:
