Recently during his speech at the World Economic Forum’s annual conference in Davos, newly-elected Argentina President Javier Milei schooled the audience in economics: laying out the incredible advancement and wealth creation brought about by capitalism, while condemning socialism, collectivism, & state intervention into the market, and advocating free markets/libertarianism!
And—on the one hand rather disconcerting, but on the other hand impressive and fascinating—AI was used to translate his speech to English, using his own voice and accent, and even altering the video (similar to a “deep fake”) to appear that he was actually speaking English.
