VIDEO: Recap of the Biggest Stories of 2022

As many of you may be aware, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald is now hosting a live news broadcast on Rumble (the free speech alternative to YouTube), which carries the same name and strikes me as an expansion of his prior podcast System Update.

The program airs live for one hour Monday though Friday at 4 PM EST, the first half featuring news/monologue, the second half featuring a guest interview/discussion.

Finally, a newscast that isn’t steeped in ideology and focused on propagating an agenda or narrative—but on presenting the truth, along with the facts, data, and evidence that support it!

That’s right, Greenwald’s System Update is not steeped in either the (falsely labeled) “left or right” ideologies (which would more accurately be labeled “far-left” and “not-so-far-left”, because on the true political spectrum, statismStatism: the principle or policy of concentrating extensive economic, political, and related controls in the state at the cost of individual liberty. in its various extremes actually falls to the left, and freedom in its various allowances falls to the right, as depicted in this graphic):

Rather, System Update is instead steeped in the principles of individual rights and liberty, and focused on the truth, along with the facts, data, and evidence that support it, and on adversarial journalism—i.e., reporting to the people the truth and facts about what their government or other powerful people and/or institutions are doing (which is precisely why the journalism vocation enjoys Constitutional protection via the First Amendment).

Better yet, the December 27th 2022 episode was a recap of all of the biggest and most important stories Greenwald covered over the year, and it was very informative. I had missed some of the coverage in the past, and was glad to have this recap episode to fill in the gaps as we approach the new year and leave 2022 behind.

Very much worth a watch:
