Just wanted to send out a notification that my online gift shop, Lifeology Store, has finally launched!
Lifeology Store features unique, exclusive, one-of-a-kind products & gifts. True, right now it’s only custom-designed mugs, but eventually the store will be expanded to include all sorts of unique items, so check back regularly!
A little history: I had this idea a couple of years ago, when I posted a pic on Facebook that happened to have a coffee mug I had designed and ordered online in the background (“It’s An INTJ Thing; You Wouldn’t Understand”), and to my surprise several people noticed it and said they wanted one!
So I thought about that for a long time (around two years). I liked the idea, but at the time just didn’t have the time or resources to pursue it. So I back-burnered the idea.
Then last year (2022) I spent around six months researching if/how I could do it, and then in November decided to go for it. I then spent several months designing the Typology mugs, which required considerable research, as you can imagine:
Then in May 2023 I created the umbrella corporation, Eastwood Innovations LLC, and in June started building the online store, which took 4 months to develop and finally launch. Meantime, once the Typology mugs were finished and uploaded, I designed/added several mugs in the other categories to make the store more diverse prior to launch:
I spent the past few weeks testing the store/ordering/shipping process, working out the bugs, and yesterday finally launched Lifeology Store!
So: 2 years contemplating it, 6 months researching it, 6 months doing preliminary design work, then 6 months to build/launch the business. Needless to say, it’s been quite a challenge!
