Kindle Books Now Available on Amazon

This month, for the first time in probably over a year, someone out there purchased one of my Kindle books: Forever Anna Day (which, BTW, also recently received a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-star rating)…!

On the other hand, it then occurred to me that I haven’t actually promoted those books in forever…

So I thought I’d throw out a new post to invite readers to check out all of my Kindle books that are currently available on Amazon:

Forever Anna Day

(IMO, my overall best piece to date, definitely the most challenging to write, requiring substantial research)

“This dramatic and ghostly novella spans over 50 years of the life of Red Kelly, from a young soldier dealing with the atrocities of WWII in occupied France, through his marriage with the beautiful love of his life Anna, to a lonely old man, having lost everything and living out the last of his days in a tiny, seedy apartment surrounded by memories of his life, and facing a dismal future in a nursing home…until a sudden crisis unfolds in his apartment building, enabling him to perform one last heroic deed—and in the process, win the love his long-lost, beloved Anna once again…”

The Crossing

(Now the basis (Part I) of my extensive novel-in-process, Primeval)

“In the small town of Hope, adult life is about to be thrust upon young Tommy, essentially ending his childhood and his boyhood adventures with his best friend Winnie. This uncertain future as a “man” frightens him; he wonders if he’ll turn out to be just like his abusive, alcoholic father—or become an emotionally damaged deadbeat like his older brother Will. As his last childhood summer draws to a close, he struggles with the prospect of leaving his childhood paradise—and his best friend—behind, only to venture into the unknown, scary territory of adulthood, perhaps prematurely. But an evil entity hidden deep within the nearby haunted Black Woods and Blackwater Swamp beckons, and “Old Rope” (the ancient, rickety rope bridge that crosses Hope Creek Canyon near Black Woods) offers him a possible escape–and the decision he makes will mark his name down in history forever…”

A Sweet Ride

(The first story I ever actually completed, many years ago—and still a reader favorite to this day)

“A lonely, struggling writer is struck with sudden inspiration late one night, and first thing next morning sets about hammering out his new story—and is confident of success this time. He knows this will be the best work of his life; his “magnum opus”…

He is so certain of success—that this new manuscript carries no possibility of rejection, by anyone—that he has planned his own victory celebration upon its completion.

After a lifetime of disappointment, failure, and despair, he has finally managed to purchase his “dream machine”, and retrieved his old motorcycle helmet from storage. Upon completing the most magnificent work of his life, he takes the most thrilling ride of his life—with his final destination being the last place on earth anyone would expect…”

The Traveler

(Award Winner: First Place, Carpe Articulum Literary Review‘s 2009 International Short Fiction Competition)

“David, a career attorney, is up for a big promotion at his firm–which will mean more money, a transfer to the big city—and, of course, more “opportunities”. He is bored with the small-town life, and his marriage is on the rocks–so he decides on a whim to leave everything behind and pursue the good life on his own. But on his way out of town, things don’t go quite as expected…while on the road, he encounters a mysterious stranger, and his entire life suddenly spins out of control. After a dangerous reality check, David must think and act quickly, or risk losing his life—in more ways than one…”

Shallow Waters Vol. 5 Flash Fiction Anthology

Also, my flash fiction story The Road Home was published in Vol.5 of Crystal Lake Publishing‘s Shallow Waters Flash Fiction Anthology series, also available on Kindle!

“Shallow Waters – where the unearthed and the unearthly intertwine, beckoning readers to discover the unknown. With 23 tales that navigate the eerie crossroads of horror, dark fiction, and the forbidden shadows of life and death, Shallow Waters Vol. 5 invites readers to explore the macabre mysteries that lurk beneath the surface of reality. Volume Five is a harrowing journey through horror on the road, enigmatic graveyards, karma’s relentless pursuit, the scars of war, and the sinister shades of Halloween. These horror stories will give you a glimpse into a realm where humanity intersects with the supernatural, where everyday landscapes hide sinister secrets, and the shadows whisper stories of the unknown.”

Shallow Waters Anthology: Special Paperback Edition

Okay, it’s not a Kindle book, but worth mentioning: along with being published in the aforementioned Shallow Waters Vol. 5, my flash fiction story The Road Home was also selected for Crystal Lake Publishing‘s huge Shallow Waters Horror Flash Fiction Anthology (comprising the top selections from the entire series), available on Amazon in trade paperback!

“Prepare to embark on a journey beyond the ordinary, where the unknown beckons and nightmares come to life.
