Recursive Adaptation recently reported that there is growing scientific evidence that GLP-1 meds (currently used primarily for lowering blood glucose for weight loss and type-2 diabetes) are surprisingly affective for addiction treatment, stating: “If upcoming studies confirm existing data, GLP-1 drugs will be, by a wide margin, the most widely deployed anti-addiction medications.”
