Axios recently reported that since the year 2000, the proportion of the world’s population with a net worth less than $10,000 has plunged from 75% to 40% (a 46% decline), stating “Never before in human history has there been any meaningful migration out of that bracket.” Also, and those with wealth between $10,000 and $100,000 more than doubled from 17% to 43%.
