Back in 2014, prize-winning journalist and constitutional/civil rights attorney (and now host of the news program System Update) Glenn Greenwald gave a 20-minute TED Talk entitled Why Privacy Matters, wherein he responded to the common question concerning governmental mass surveillance:
“If you aren’t doing anything wrong, what do you have to worry about?”
In answer, he spends the first 15 minutes informing us of precisely what we need to worry about, then spends the last 5 minutes answering questions about former NSA intelligence operative and whistleblower Edward Snowden.
